Grenadian Youth in the Diaspora
Our relationship, connection and contribution to the homeland.

Join us this

Sunday May 22nd, 2011

at the York Civic Centre (Council Chamber 2nd Floor),

2700 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario,

3pm – 6pm

as we discuss ways in which we can engage youth in the Diaspora in nation building.

Providing insight and guidance will be; Grenada’s Consulate General in Canada, Mrs. Jenny Gumbs, Junior Minister for Culture, Senator Arley Gill and members of the Diaspora Consultative Committee Canada (DCCC). Youth representatives from Spice Promotion Youth Cultural Organization (SPYCO) based in Montreal, the Grenadian-American Young Women’s Association (GAYWA) based in New York, Grenadian artistes and representatives from the different Grenadian community organizations in Toronto will also be present.

This initiative, is of immense importance and requires participation from ALL, regardless of political, religious or social persuasion to enable us to Aspire.Build & Advance as ONE people.

Don’t stand idle, come out and make your contribution and tell a friend. Join us as we chart a way forward first to the Founding Conference ~ Grenada, August 2 & 3rd, 2011 and ultimately to a new future of economic and cultural prosperity for the beautiful tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique.
